Associated Students of Golden West College ʻ21-ʻ22 have formed the "Mascot Review Task Force" to review the use of Rustler Sam as the Golden West College Mascot.
Associated Students of Golden West College ʻ21-ʻ22 have formed the "Mascot Review Task Force" to review the use of Rustler Sam as the Golden West College Mascot.
The Rustlers for Rustler Sam community strongly believes that Rustler Sam and "the Rustler" should continue to be the Golden West College mascot. Rustler Sam and "the Rustler" are the perfect mascots to promote events and involvement at Golden West College. This mascot is a direct gift from late famous comic artist T.K.Ryan to the first ever Associated Students of Golden West College and honors the 600-acre Golden West Ranch that once headquartered on Gothard Street and the train-tracks, to the southeast of our current campus.
